Patient Information

Our goal is to provide high-quality surgical services. Patients who elect to have surgery in our center arrive at the time of their procedure, with expedited admissions and preoperative care to eliminate or minimize anxious waiting periods. Surgeries are performed in a state-of-the-art operating room, and patients recover in comfort, under the care of a highly qualified nursing staff. Typically, all patients return to their own homes shortly after the procedure.

Montgomery Surgery Center surgeons specialize in many types of outpatient procedures, and for all types of patients, from pediatric to elderly. Our patients’ family members also benefit from the comfort and convenience of our facility. Learn more about:

Before Your Procedure

Upon scheduling you will receive a packet of information that is very important for you to follow. Our staff will be contacting you on the day prior to your surgical procedure to go over the time of your arrival and details concerning instructions you need to follow prior to your arrival at our facility. We can also address any questions or concerns you may have at that time. Please note that Monday patients will be called on the Friday prior. If you will not be available at this time please call us so we can give you the information you need at your convenience.

We ask that you try to arrive promptly for your appointment. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your surgery for any reason. Depending on your type of surgery you will be spending a minimum of two hours at our center.

Payments & Insurance

We expect payment at the time of service if we do not participate with your insurance carrier. If we participate with your insurance carrier, we will bill you for the service, file your claim, and the carrier will reimburse our facility directly. All copays should be paid at the time of service.

For your convenience we accept cash, check, MAC or credit cards. If your insurance considers a service as non-covered, the payment will also be collected from you at time of service. Any billing questions should be directed to the billing department of the facility.

Our Accreditation

AAAHC Accreditation

One of the most important things we do to earn your trust is to participate voluntarily in the quality assessment program of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Our accreditation tells you that the AAAHC’s independent team of health care professionals has taken a close look at every aspect of our operations and found that they meet their rigorous, nationally recognized standards for quality health care services.

Accreditation demands a high level of commitment and effort. It challenges us always to find better ways to serve our patients. It reminds us constantly that our first and most important responsibility is to see that you receive the best care we can possibly provide. Our accreditation gives you that extra measure of confidence you want in your health care services. It’s one more way for us to say: “We care about you.”
